Open Up Summer

THE ASK

Ideate and implement a campaign for summer of 2021 that will engage consumers with the MadTree brand and (as vaccine options become available to the public) excite them as they look forward to spending quality time with family and friends outside.

THE RESULT

Open Up Summer with MadTree. This slogan encapsulates the world ‘opening back up,’ as well as the idea of opening up a can of a consumer’s favorite MadTree beer. MadTree implemented a Text-to-Win campaign and received over 4,000 entries to the sweepstakes.

The grand prize was one all-inclusive backyard party with the MadTree draft truck and food provided for up to twenty people along with a MadTree Cornhole set, MadTree tailgate tent, MadTree cooler, MadTree frisbees, MadTree beach towels, and MadTree koozies.

Five Swag Winners Received the Following:

MadTree Cornhole set, MadTree tailgate tent, MadTree cooler, MadTree frisbees, MadTree beach towels, and MadTree koozies.

This Pack Gives Back

THE ASK

How can we raise awareness about MadTree’s commitment to give back 1% of their sales to nonprofits focused on sustainability from their membership with 1% For The Planet?

THE RESULT

This Pack Gives Back. Seven nonprofits in seven different cities. This campaign was all about raising awareness to consumers that MadTree cares about their community and by purchasing a “pack” of MadTree beer, they are giving back locally.

Maximizing the sponsored ad digital budget, the team was  able to get our brand in front of ½ a million people with similar interests as MadTree who didn’t already follow us. With over 1 million impressions, the targeted ads in each city accounted for over 900,000 of those impressions while MadTree’s social media garnered over 100,000 impressions organically during the span of this month and a half long campaign.

MadTree is a member of 1% For The Planet, and partnering with recognizable nonprofits in each major city MadTree distributes their product in was an effective way to relate and communicate with consumers in those markets.
